Dior Diorissimo

  • Release Year: 2009
  • Perfumer: Francois Demachy
  • Notes:
    • Top: Ylang-Ylang
    • Middle: Indian Jasmine Absolute
    • Base: White Musk
  • Gender: Women
  • Scent Family: Floral
  • Scent Type: White Floral, Fresh, Green
  • Inspiration: This masterpiece of the fragrance was first created in 1956 by Edmond Roudnitska as a toilette. The 2009 reformulation is now a perfume by Dior’s house perfumer Francois Demachy. Demachy’s approach to this recreation was to make more of a vigorous yet luxurious “floral bouquet.” The 2009 Diorissimo pushes the Indian jasmine’s softness to be the perfume’s main star. This prominence was made possible by white musk.
