Inspiration: Le Labo wanted to create a fragrance that was based on the old American west with Santal 33. The use of creamy sandalwood paired with green papyrus and dry cardamom helped create the arid environment that many cowboys treaded in those days. Worn leathery notes that feel like your favorite pair of boots with a hint of warm amber that feels like a campfire dancing across your face.

Santal 33 was a hit from the start with Its appealing dry woody nature paired with warm notes and leather appealed to many people and it began to have a huge following. It feels like comfort. It beckons us to explore our deepest desire and live out our dreams of adventure in the wild places that the world has to offer. Santal 33 can be worn all year long, but in the autumn it takes on new life. It has this ability to seem like it works in unison with the dry golden leaves that decorate the ground.
